A Warm Doctor Who Hello to All Readers and Fellow Writers!

My name is Bella and I am a new writer to The Gallifrey Times. I have been writing for other publications, but this is my first professional foray into writing for the world of Who (or Whoniverse, as I like to call it), and I am thrilled about the opportunity.

I first began watching Doctor Who in 2009, at the insistence of a close friend. I said I would give the series 15 minutes to impress or I would be moving on. I began with the “new” Who – with brilliant actor, Christopher Eccleston – and 2.5 days later, and only a few short naps in between, I was up to speed with the current series. Needless to say, it has been a love affair since then.

One of my favourite episodes – and there are many – is “Turn Left” with David Tenant as the Doctor and Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. If you haven’t watched it yet (Go. Watch now!), I will not include any “spoilers,” but let’s just say, a world never touched by the Doctor would be a less colourful one.

I look forward to sharing any and all Doctor Who news with other fans. This, the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, is an especially busy year for the series, so stay tuned for news, reviews, and much more excitement ahead!
