John Barrowman On Possible Return To Doctor Who, Torchwood

John Barrowman known for playing Captain Jack in both Doctor Who and spin-off Torchwood has recently been talking about returning to the shows.

Speaking at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2), he first said that he’s spoken to Russell T Davies about Captain Jack meeting the 11th Doctor.

“I’ve spoken to Russell [T. Davies] about it and he thinks it would be a great idea for Jack to meet Matt Smith’s Doctor.

Matt and I actually had a conversation about it at the BBC and he thought it would be a great idea; Steven [Moffat] said it would be a great idea.”

He added: “Great ideas sometimes never happen and sometimes they do. You’ll just have to watch this space!”

Speaking about Torchwood, the actor said that he would love to return if there was another series.

“If they wanted to do more Torchwood, I would be back at the drop of a hat.

“I would be very upset if they did it without me and went another direction. I would be gutted. I don’t think the fans would enjoy it without Captain Jack.”

“Captain Jack is an iconic figure; he’s a hero. No matter where I am, as long as it works out in my schedule, I will come back to play him. But who knows what’s going to happen.”
