Doctor Who 2014 World Cup: Semi-Finals

Welcome back to the Doctor Who 2014 World Cup! Last week’s quarter-finals saw two matches go down to the wire while two other stories easily snatched victory.

We’re down to the final four stories in the competition! Each of the winners of the quarter-finals has been randomly drawn against another opponent, making two head-to-head matches. Today, voting for the semi-finals kicks off! The most voted story from each semi-final will progress to the World Cup final, where the final two stories battle it out for the World Cup crown.

The four stories left have survived several rounds of voting (and are also qualifier and group champions) and regularly rank in ‘best episode’ lists – so choose your votes carefully! You can choose your one favourite story from each of the two semi-finals below:

Semi-Final 1

Voting closes on Friday 2nd May, so get your votes in before then. While our finalists will be chosen next week, next week’s poll will not be the final – instead, come back next Saturday for the third place playoff, where the semi-final losers will battle it out for third place in the World Cup! The World Cup final will follow on Saturday 10th May.
