It has been reported that, Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary Special, will be aired as a simulcast on November 23rd, according to The Sun. It is supposedly expected to air in the UK at 8pm so that consequently Australian fans can view the episode at 7pm along with fans in America at noon. This is to intend that there is no plot leakage and to make it one of the largest-ever global drama simulcast.
However, it is interesting to note The Sun state that Doctor Who has been sold to ”200 countries”, when in fact the show only currently airs internationally in 48 countries. This is very exciting news for non-UK fans of Doctor Who, however the source is questionable. Take with a pinch of salt.
