Doctor Who At 50: BFI Announces New Guests

The Radio Times have today confirmed the line-up of special guests for the British Film Institute’s celebratory screening of Christopher Eccleston’s final stories as the Doctor, ‘Bad Wolf’ and ‘The Parting of the Ways’. 

The London screening will be attended by;
Phil Collinson, the former producer on Doctor Who who oversaw more than fifty episodes between 2005 and 2008 under the tenure of Russell T. Davies.
Bruno Langley, best known to Doctor Who fans for playing Adam Mitchell in ‘The Long Game’ and ‘Dalek’, both from Series 1.
Joe Ahearne, the director of the two-part finale being screened. Ahearne also directed ‘Dalek’, ‘Father’s Day’ and ‘Boom Town’, but hasn’t worked on the show since the end of Series 1. 
Dave Houghton, visual effects supervisor on the show between 2005 and 2010, overseeing more than sixty stories during his time on the show.
The Ninth Doctor’s swansong will be shown at the BFI in London on Saturday 24th August. The event is already sold out, but fans are advised to check for possible returns.
