Doctor Who: BBC Three To Air 50th Anniversary Celebration Show

BBC Three will be airing a special show celebrating Doctor Who‘s 50th anniversary later this year, it has been revealed.

The show is expected to take the form of a greatest moments clip-show, with interviews and discussion from celebrity fans and actors. The news was leaked by comedian Tom Craine, who announced he would be participating in the special on his website. Craine said:

“Delighted that I’ll be appearing as a guest on a forthcoming BBC3 show celebrating 50 years of Doctor Who. Wouldn’t put it past me to have a few stern words to say about the Daleks.”

The celebration show will join docu-drama An Adventure in Space and Time and the 50th anniversary special itself as part of the televised celebrations of the 50th anniversary in November.
