Doctor Who: The Bells of Saint John had an overnight UK audience of 6.18 million viewers and a share of 29.8% of the total TV audience. It won the timeslot with ITV’s You’ve Been Framed! on ITV getting 3.6 million viewers.
The figures make Doctor Who the third most-watched programme of the day. ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway made it first, achieving 7.19 million viewers, while The Voice UK came second with 6.24 million.
With the latest figures available, Doctor Who currently stands at the 22nd most watched programme of the week.
