Doctor Who: Big Finish To Reunite The Tenth Doctor And Donna

Big Finish has recently announced a slate of new audio adventures including characters from the new series of Doctor Who, including River Song, Strax, and others. Now it has been revealed that the Tenth Doctor and Donna will feature in a series of audio adventures, David Tennant and Catherine Tate reprising their roles.

This new series is scheduled for release sometime in 2016. The scripts are completed, and Big Finish is waiting for Tennant and Tate’s schedules to allow them to record.

Tennant played the Doctor from 2005-2010, with a special appearance in 2013’s “The Day of the Doctor.” Tate first appeared as Donna in “The Runaway Bride” in 2007, and became a regular companion in series 4 in 2008.

Tennant appeared as supporting characters in two Big Finish adventures before landing the role of the Doctor, but this will be his first audio adventure as the Tenth Doctor. This will be Catherine Tate’s first Big Finish audio appearance.
