Doctor Who Christmas Special Monster Revealed?

WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS POSSIBLE SPOILERS.

In the past, festive episodes of Doctor Who have included killer Christmas Trees, Santa Robots and the Sycorax, but this years rumoured monster might just surprise you.

Filming was taking place last night at Insole Court, Cardiff for this years Doctor Who Christmas Special and it was reported that scary looking snowmen were being used in scenes. One was snapped by Ryan Farrell but sadly it was disassembled, but we’ve included it below for you to look at!

Could snowmen really be the Christmas Special monster?

In other Christmas Special related news, Bristol residents have been alerted to filming taking place at Corn Street in the City Centre on Monday 20th August 2012 between 9pm – 5am.

A letter sent out to residents can be seen below:

BBC Doctor Who are looking to transform Corn Street and some other parts of Bristol into Victorian London streets and will be dressing the whole area to appear as though it is 1890s London. We will be using a series of special effects, snow and horse and carts to help us along the way. The scene we are filming in Bristol will feature in the show’s Christmas Special which will transmit this December on Christmas Day.

So we’re guessing that the villains this years Doctor Who Christmas Special may well be evil snowmen and it looks like the episode will be set in 1890s London.
