Doctor Who: Cold War Broadcasts Tonight!

It’s the one you’ve all been waiting for. Cold War, airs tonight – and it features the long-awaited return of one of the Doctor’s oldest foes: the Ice Warriors… on a sinking Russian nuclear submarine in 1984. Here’s all you need to know about tonight’s episode!

The Doctor and Clara land on a damaged Russian submarine in 1983 as it spirals out of control into the ocean depths. To make matters worse, an alien creature is loose on board, having escaped from a block of Arctic ice – and with tempers flaring and a cargo of nuclear weapons, it’s not just the crew but the whole of humanity at stake.

The broadcast times for Cold War are as follows:

UK – Tonight at 6pm on BBC One
US – Tonight at 8/7C on BBC America
Canada – Tonight at 9pm on SPACE
Australia – Tomorrow at 7.30pm on ABC1
Poland & South Africa – Tomorrow at 6pm & 7pm (respectively) on BBC Entertainment
New Zealand – Thursday 25 April at 8.30pm on Prime
