The Doctor Who at 50 screening season at the BFI is over halfway through, and the dates for the Eighth and Tenth Doctors’ screenings have been announced. The screenings have been reshuffled due to guest availability for the Eighth Doctor’s event, with the Ninth Doctor’s event (details are here) taking place in August.
The Tenth Doctor’s event (the story to be shown is unconfirmed, but it should be revealed in the next two weeks) will take place as the ninth serial in the season – the event will be held on Sunday 29th September at 2pm, followed by a panel discussion.
The Eighth Doctor’s event – showing his only televised adventure, the 1996 TV Movie. will then take place the following week, on Saturday 5th October at the earlier time of 10am.
The Eleventh Doctor’s event will then close the season in November, with the story to be confirmed.
