Doctor Who: In the Forest of the Night – Poll Results

For the past week and a half you’ve been voting in our two polls for In the Forest of the Night – our ‘rate the episode’ poll and our Question of the Week poll. We’ve now closed both polls and you can view the results below:

First up, our rate the episode poll. After last week’s almost universally positive reception (view those results here), the episode received a fairly tepid response, with the smallest amount of 5/5 votes yet:
  • Absolutely amazing – 14.49%
  • Very good – 33.33%
  • OK – 31.88%
  • Not too great – 13.04%
  • Awful – 7.25%
You can see the updated Series 8 leaderboard below, showing the average scores for each poll – we’ll be continuing to update it weekly to show your favourite episodes of the series so far. In the Forest of the Night slots in at rock bottom of the list, comfortably behind Kill the Moon:
  1. Listen – Average of 4.54/5
  2. Flatline – Average of 4.48/5

In the Forest of the Night‘s Question of the Week asked: ‘Do you agree with Danny?’. Do you believe, like Danny, the things on Earth are more amazing than universes, or do you believe there’s better things out in space? Danny might just have the minority view – with the large majority of voters voting ‘No’:
  • Yes – The things on Earth are more amazing than universes – 17.31%
  • No – There’s more amazing things out in the universe – 82.69%
We’ll have a rate the episode poll for Dark Water up straight after the episode tonight at 9pm, with our Question of the Week coming tomorrow.
