Doctor Who: Into the Dalek – Overnight Viewing Figures

The overnight UK viewing figures for last night’s episode, Into the Dalek, have been released.

The episode had 5.20 million viewers on average, and a share of 24.7% of the overall audience. That’s a drop from last week’s total, but is in line with ratings for other second episodes – and the episode clashed with the last 15 minutes of The X Factor‘s series opened.

Doctor Who was the second most watched programme of the day, with the return of The X Factor (9.5 million) winning the day.

The consolidated viewing figures will be released next week, where Doctor Who will rise considerably in the ratings.
