Doctor Who Magazine #490: Details Revealed

Details and a look at the front cover have been released for the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, which will be available to buy from Thursday.

In this month’s issue Doctor Who executive producer and head writer Steven Moffat previews the upcoming ninth series of the show, including the opening two-part story The Magician’s Apprentice/The Witch’s Familiar:

“Why not start with a blockbuster? Why leave it till the last two weeks? So yes, it’s like starting with a finale, and having a big, grand, movie-sized story, as opposed to a 45-minute story.”
