Doctor Who: The Magician’s Apprentice To Premiere In The Cinema

It has been announced that the first episode of series nine, “The Magician’s Apprentice,” will premiere at the Filmhouse Cinema in Edinburgh on 27 August. The screening is a part of The Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival.

According to the press release for the event (which can be found below), the run time for the episode is a normal forty-five minutes, as opposed to last year’s eighty-minute feature-length premiere, “Deep Breath.”
