BBC America has announced that this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego will feature a Doctor Who panel with the stars of the upcoming eleventh series.
Making their first-ever panel appearance ahead of the show’s return later this year will be Thirteenth Doctor Jodie Whittaker and two of her fellow newcomers to the show, Mandip Gill (Yasmin) and Tosin Cole (Ryan).
The panel, moderated by comedian and Doctor Who fan Chris Hardwick, will also feature behind-the-scenes insights from new series showrunner Chris Chibnall and executive producer Matt Strevens.
Previous Doctor Who panels have offered attendees an exclusive look at upcoming series of the show, but it is as yet unknown whether a preview of the new series will be premiered at the convention.
This year’s San Diego Comic-Con will take place at the San Diego Convention Center from 18th-22nd July. Details on exactly when and where this year’s Doctor Who panel will take place have not yet been released.
Doctor Who Series 11 is currently filming and is due to air this autumn on BBC One and BBC America.
