The show, which will begin airing this August Bank Holiday weekend, is a parody of overblown and heavily serious serial killer dramas written by Charlie Brooker (Screenwipe, 10 O’Clock Live). Each instalment will be feature length, similar to Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss’ recent Sherlock series.
No details are available yet for Karen’s character. The episode featuring her won’t air until 2013, after her final appearance as Amy Pond. About all we do know of the third episode so far is that “things just got personal” for the leads.
Filming has recently begun on A Touch Of Cloth‘s second episode.
