Steven Moffat has talked for the first time about bringing Tenth and Eleventh Doctors, David Tennant and Matt Smith, to work together on Doctor Who‘s 50th anniversary special.
In an interview with BBC America, Moffat said:
“Matt and David together was quite special. They really, really, really got on well with each other and adored working with each other. It was just properly funny. The two of them together in particular are really, really funny.”
And when asked if Tennant will be playing the ‘real’ Tenth Doctor or the half-human Doctor, Moffat remained coy:
“I’m not telling you!”
The full interview can be seen below, which also contains some chat about The Name of the Doctor and Sherlock:
The 50th Anniversary Special airs in November.
