For the past week you’ve been voting in our two polls for The Zygon Invasion – our ‘rate the episode’ poll and our Question of the Week poll. We’ve now closed both polls and you can view the results below.
The results have been steadily declining since the opening two-parter (you can see last week’s results here), but The Zygon Invasion managed to buck that trend with the best results in a few episodes:
- Excellent (5/5) – 45.16%
- Very good (4/5) – 32.26%
- OK (3/5) – 11.29%
- Poor (2/5) – 4.84%
- Dreadful (1/5) – 6.45%
The Zygon Invasion had an average score (to two decimal places) of 4.05/5. That’s higher than the last couple of episodes, and a very typical score for the Capaldi era thus far. Here’s our Series 9 leaderboard so far, with The Zygon Invasion missing out on fourth place by a hair:
All average scores are out of 5.
- The Witch’s Familiar – 4.55
- The Magician’s Apprentice – 4.45
- Under the Lake – 4.37
- Before the Flood – 4.054
- The Zygon Invasion – 4.048
- The Girl Who Died – 3.98
- The Woman Who Lived – 3.85
The Zygon Invasion’s Question of the Week asked: ‘Is Osgood a Zygon or a human?’. Once again, there was a fairly clear consensus, with most voters saying:
- Human – 67.65%
- Zygon – 32.35%
We’ll have a rate the episode poll for The Zygon Inversion for you straight after the episode tonight at 8.50pm – and this week’s Question of the Week will be up tomorrow.
