In celebration of Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary this November, the show’s iconic Daleks are set to invade Bradford’s National Media Museum as the museum launches their ‘Doctor Who Family Fun’ for the upcoming half-term holidays.
The exhibition will feature Doctor Who fun for fans of all ages, with activities ranging from making a light-up TARDIS, a moving Dalek, creating your very own Doctor Who monster through to a special behind-the-scenes film showing just how an episode of the show is made.
The Series 7 episode, ‘Nightmare In Silver’, written by Neil Gaiman and featuring the Cybermen, will also be shown during the exhibition, and fans will have the chance to test their knowledge in a special Doctor Who quiz.
Learning programme coordinator Elaine Richmond said:
“We hope families will join us this half term to help keep the Museum from the clutches of the dreaded Daleks. We’re very excited about this event and promise a lot of Doctor Who-themed fun and activities in anticipation of the 50th anniversary episode next month.”
The exhibition will be at the National Media Museum in Bradford, West Yorkshire, over the week of October 26th to November 3rd.
