There are an uncountable number of Doctor Who books out there, but there is perhaps none so intriguing as this new release self-published by Aboud Dandachi.
Dandachi’s book, The Doctor, The Eye and Me, is a first-hand account of the Syrian conflict that draws parallels between The Doctor’s adventures and this terrible period in history. As well as an insightful look into the effects of the conflict, it is also an interesting deconstruction of the meanings and messages that we can draw from our beloved TV show.
