David Tennant who played the much loved 10th Doctor from 2005 to 2010 recently hinted at a possible return to the show, and has now spoken again about the possibility of returning to Doctor Who for next year’s 50th Anniversary, this time to The Sun newspaper.
He said he’ll always be able to come back in the ‘alternate world’, but is doubtful that Billie Piper, who played his companion Rose Tyler would return next year for the shows 50th Anniversary.
“I’ll always be able to come back in the alternate world because the Doctor will age like a normal human.
“Billie [Piper] probably wouldn’t come back and that’s what would be problematic. It’s always possible but I can’t tell you if there are any plans yet.”
He goes on to say: “Who knows what will happen next year? I am sure there are lots of plans being discussed in quiet rooms by men with long beards and great power.”
