The Doctor Who Programme Guide Is Revamped

1981 was a significant year in terms of reference books for Doctor Who. Fans grew to love the first The Doctor Who Programme Guide by Jean-Marc Lofficier. An updated version in 1989 meant the two books provided the perfect accompaniment to Doctor Who up until the end of the Classic era.

The guide is now making a welcome return with a new edition to be released in April, written by Paul Smith together with an introduction from original author Lofficier.

Picking up with Paul McGann’s eighth Doctor and spanning right up to to Matt Smith’s eleven, readers will be treated to fine details of every episode with the bonus of including mini-episodes and prequels found in DVD productions.

The book will have a familiar feel documenting storyline synopsis, writers, directors, producers and descriptions regarding each actor.

With the same clear format of the original books The New Who Programme Guide is the ideal thing for a fan to have, providing a great reference check for New Who.

Paul Smith is already an accomplished Doctor Who author and you will be able to get hold of The New Who Programme Guide from Amazon as of the 3rd of April 2015.
