Vote To Name A Bus After John Nathan-Turner
Brighton and Hove Council are holding a poll to name one of the city’s new buses. One of the ‘candidates’ for the honour is renowned Doctor Who producer John Nathan-Turner, who worked on the show during the 80s. Filming took place in Sussex and the coast several times, so Who has a connection with the county.
The south coast resort has acuqired 24 new Coaster Buses and has put it to the public to decide the names of the vehicles. The council have selected 15 names from the 100+ suggestions. The 15 names will be announced soon, with the remaining 9 names being selected by public vote.
