NOTE: We have now closed applications for The Gallifrey Times – if you’re in the process of applying, that will continue. Applications for Flixed will remain indefinitely open.
It’s that time of year again – as Series 9 approaches, The Gallifrey Times is once again looking for new writers! However, this year, we’re offering not one, but two opportunities to join our team.
First of all, The Gallifrey Times itself is now recruiting new writers to bring our readers the latest news and thought-provoking opinion pieces regarding not only the show’s future, but also the past 52 years of Doctor Who. We’re particularly looking for writers to help create plenty of new editorials and debates regarding a wide variety of topics from across the Whoniverse, though there will also be opportunities to cover the latest Who news.
Second of all, we’re excited to announce that the TGT world is expanding a little, with our brand new spin-off site, Flixed, launching very soon! Instead of just focusing on one show, Flixed will be centred around the latest news and reviews from streaming site Netflix’s addictive original shows, such as House of Cards, Daredevil and Orange is the New Black – and we’re opening up applications for new writers right now, giving you the chance to be a part of the site as it launches and help bring your ideas to the table.
If you’ve been looking to write about Doctor Who, or the stories of Frank Underwood, Matt Murdock and co., gain some journalistic experience and, most importantly, have a whole lot of fun doing so, then now’s your chance! More details on applying for either site can be found on our Write for Us page here, with everything you need to know and more.
Good luck, and we look forward to hearing from you!
All positions are voluntary – unfortunately, we cannot offer payment.
